WhyIcelandWhere to next?
In Iceland, Mother Nature crafts her wonders with a different brush and a wild imagination.
Between the mighty ocean and volcanic landscapes, the snow-capped peaks meet the black beaches. The land of the most astonishing waterfalls, hot springs, steaming craters, and magical northern lights. Known for its beauty, it still hides its secret paradise spots, untouched by human hands.
The only way to truly know, experience, and enjoy it is to journey around with a camper and camera, because behind every bend there's a new surreal vista you simply must capture forever. And that's not all – our adventure will take you to the hottest spot on Earth!

A sense of freedom, independence, and unparalleled emotions on wheels!
The freedom to wake up to a new landscape each morning. To brew coffee with a view of a waterfall, and at night, to listen to the wind weaving tales through the camper's walls.
If the cold awakens rather than deters you. If rain is part of the magic for you. If raw nature makes you breathe deeper, rather than turning back.
Then Iceland is your canvas. Glaciers, black beaches, endless roads, and new friendships in a compact space, yet with ample room for emotions.
Are you ready to disconnect from everything else and connect with the real?

Itinerary
Day 1
From Terminal 2 to Reykjavik
Meet at Sofia Airport, Terminal 2, and depart for Reykjavik.
Day 2
Welcome to Iceland!
Our Icelandic tale begins with a short hike to the Fagradalsfjall volcano, which was active until recently. The trek takes about 2 hours and is suitable for everyone. The difficulty is not great and no special physical preparation is required.
We set off with a camper towards Skógafoss. Our Iceland will evoke a sense of timelessness. That timelessness that makes you feel nature and how it is stronger than us. On this day, we will reveal to you surreal waterfalls, volcanic craters, fairy-tale valleys, hot springs, fantastic landscapes, and incredible nature!
The beautiful natural phenomena of Iceland await us.
The next stop is Kerid Crater, which was formed after a volcanic eruption about 3000 years ago. The lake within it boasts an incredible aquamarine colour. Kerid itself is one of several crater lakes in the area known as Iceland's Western Volcanic Zone.
We will stop for an hour at Geysir, home to many fumaroles. These are openings in the earth's crust that emit steam and gas.
Our journey continues to Iceland's most famous geyser – Strokkur (Haukadalsvegur). We will witness an incredible natural spectacle – an eruption of hot water and steam reaching a height of 20 to 40 metres. This natural phenomenon occurs every 5 to 10 minutes.
We continue to the next Icelandic wonder – Gullfoss Falls or “Golden Waterfall”. This spot is one of Iceland's natural wonders, with its cascading waters seemingly falling straight underground. Depending on how much time we have, we'll decide whether to proceed to the Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss waterfalls.
Remember, we have our mobile homes, so we can spend the night wherever we wish!
Day 3
Alien beauty, untouched by human presence
The surreal landscape of Iceland and its otherworldly atmosphere will stir sensations in you that you've never known before. Our itinerary for the day includes extraterrestrial spots harboring landscapes of wild and dramatic beauty, airplane wrecks, black beaches of unfamiliar beauty, canyons, waterfalls, and views untouched by human presence.
The date is 21 November 1973. Around 14:00. A Douglas Super DC 3 aircraft with a seven-member crew makes an emergency landing in Sólheimasandur. No one was injured. Today, the white remnants of the plane create a dramatic and mysterious atmosphere amidst the dark volcanic sand. We will have a hike here lasting around 2 hours, requiring no physical preparation. The path is level without elevation changes.
Our journey will lead us to the rock arch Dyrhólaey or Door Hill. With its volcanic origin, incredible views of the southern coast, rich bird life, and its historic lighthouse, this place is one of Iceland’s most beautiful. Here, you might also encounter Iceland's favourite resident – the Atlantic Puffin.
The next stop is Iceland's most famous beach and one of the most renowned beaches in the world – Reynisfjara Beach. The black sand of the beach whispers legends of trolls and sea monsters with every step you take. A place where the wild and dramatic beauty of Iceland reigns, and the waves of the Atlantic Ocean roar with great power and thunder. This picturesque scene is enhanced by the stunning rock formations of Reynisdrangar Seastacks, located close to the shore. Legend has it that the Reynisdrangar are remnants of a battle between trolls and a three-masted ship.
We continue to another natural marvel of Iceland. Remember the dragon flight scene in the first episode of Season 8 of Game Of Thrones? That's the Fjaðrárgljúfur canyon, located in southeast Iceland and our next stop. Then we proceed to Skaftafell Camping, which is in the Skaftafell National Park.
Day 4
Wild camping beneath the towering steep cliffs of the Atlantic Ocean
Before breakfast, we're in for about a 30-minute hike towards the impressive Svartifoss waterfall. Its name literally means 'The Black Waterfall,' yet another of Iceland's natural masterpieces. As a reward after the hike, you'll get the unique PANIC pancakes.
In the southeastern part of Iceland, amidst the solitary wilderness, lies the glacial lagoon Jökulsárlón Ice Beach. Various sizes and shapes of iceberg chunks drift from the Breiðamerkurjökull glacier through the crystal blue waters.
We continue to Stokksnes – a peninsula on the southeastern Icelandic coast, where one of Iceland's most beautiful mountains awaits us – Vestrahorn Mountain. This mountain and its incredible landscape are a true paradise for photographers. Here, we'll unveil a canvas of the planet's natural beauty with dramatic peaks reaching up to 454 meters, otherworldly contours, a black beach, and a mysterious atmosphere. A place that will captivate your soul, especially during sunrises and sunsets.
This evening, we'll camp in the wild beneath the towering steep cliffs above the Atlantic Ocean.
Day 5
On the road to Europe's mightiest waterfall
After breakfast, we set out towards the Dettifoss waterfall. The journey ahead is about 4 hours, during which you can enjoy views of black-grey sandy rocks resembling a lunar landscape. Iceland preserves some of the most incredible sights on Earth. There, between fire and ice, amidst natural masterpieces and dramatic colours, every corner feels like a scene from a movie. Emerging straight out of a film is the Dettifoss waterfall, known as the most powerful waterfall in Europe. The volume of falling water is 500 cubic metres per second, and the view is sure not to disappoint.
We head to the geothermal valley of Hverir, where hot springs, endless landscapes, and pastoral hues create an otherworldly atmosphere. We haven't been to Mars, but this is exactly how we imagine it would be, which is why we'll stay here overnight (wild camping).
We head to the geothermal valley of Hverir, where hot springs, endless landscapes, and pastoral hues create an otherworldly atmosphere. We haven't been to Mars, but this is exactly how we imagine it would be, which is why we'll stay here overnight (wild camping).
Day 6
From the volcano Krafla to the town of Akureyri
After breakfast, we head towards the Hverfjall crater and Goðafoss waterfall. Iceland is full of waterfalls, each one beautiful and impressive in its own way. We will see the most majestic of them all – Goðafoss Waterfall, which is also one of the most spectacular landmarks of the country. It is called the “Waterfall of the Gods” and today it is a favourite spot for photographers.
Our day ends as we make our way to Akureyri, where we will have the opportunity to watch whales, if desired.
Day 7
Today we touch upon Game of Thrones as we set off towards the majestic peaks of Kirkjufell Mountain.
We will be travelling for about 6 hours towards Kirkjufell, where some of the most memorable scenes from Game of Thrones were filmed.
We are on our way to the next breathtaking view. Kirkjufell, or the Church Mountain, is the most beautiful mountain on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula and one of the most incredible in Iceland. After soaking in and capturing these views, we'll head to a nearby campsite where we'll spend the night.
Day 8
A Free Day in Reykjavik
Today, you'll have the chance to explore Iceland's capital, Reykjavik. Here, you can enjoy cosy and colourful cafés where you might try some fantastic pastries. The city is filled with multicoloured houses and facades adorned with unique graffiti. You'll see the Parish Church Hallgrimskirkja, which was built over 41 years. At 73 metres tall, it is the largest church in Iceland and the sixth tallest architectural structure in the country. We'll definitely stroll along the main shopping street, Laugavegur. This is the place where you can buy souvenirs and admire the impressive graffiti and flowers that decorate the entire city.
If you wish, we can visit the hot springs, Blue Lagoon or Sky Lagoon, which are among Iceland's most famous attractions.
Day 9
Farewell, Planet Iceland!
On this day, we fly back to Bulgaria. We bid farewell to the land of waterfalls and breathtaking landscapes. A land of glaciers and geysers. A land of the cold north and hot springs. A land of wild vistas. A land that crafts stories. See you soon, Iceland!

WHY TRAVEL WITH US?
Who are we?
Panic Frame & Travel is not a commercial travel agency. We don't offer you tranquility, tickets, or accommodation in an all-inclusive hotel with white tablecloths. We see ourselves as Tarzan tourists, organizing journeys to hard-to-reach places, encountering wild nature, and traveling by campers, catamarans, off-road jeeps, and even helicopters.
