A place like no other in the world. An enchanting spot where human intervention is barely visible. The greenery of nature and the blue of the ocean blend into one. Serenity and silence. About the Journey

Fairy Tale Décor

The merging of man and nature. A place where sheep outnumber people two to one. Waterfalls appear around every corner, and the rooftops are draped in greenery as if they've stepped out of a fairy tale set. Trees are such a rarity that spotting one on the islands will seem peculiar.

For ACCOMMODATION

Like at Home

When you arrive, you'll settle into an authentic yet modern house surrounded by beautiful nature and the old Hoyvík, where there's a museum and a small harbour. The location offers panoramic sea views and can accommodate 14 people. We have 6 bedrooms available, a dining table for 20 people, and an outdoor spa with sea views.

Day 1

Welcome to the capital of the Faroe Islands, Tórshavn!

Next, a transfer to your home and time to relax.

Day 2

Vagar Island – the 'calling card' of the islands

We begin our exploration of this magical place with a visit to Múlafossur Waterfall on Vagar Island – the 'calling card' of the islands. The waterfall plunges directly into the Atlantic Ocean from a height of 30 metres. Right here, we will best feel the majesty of nature and the might of its creations. When the wind blows, the water scatters in the air, creating a phenomenal view. Places like these make us understand why the Faroe Islands are called 'Europe's best-kept secret'. The waterfall is easily accessible and is a 5-minute walk from where we will stop.

Afterwards, we head to Mykines Island – the most popular summer attraction of the Faroe Islands for good reason. It's a place where we will be awe-struck in a way that very few places on Earth allow. We'll have time both to hike and to see more puffins than we might ever experience in our lifetime. This is provided that the weather conditions allow it.

Day 3

"Islands of Sheep" and a visit to the largest lake, Sørvágsvatn

Day 4

The settlement of Dúvugarðar in Saksun

Our journey through this incredible part of the world will lead us to the splendid Saksun, located just an hour's drive from the capital, Torshavn. Saksun is a small village on Streymoy island with a unique setting - nestled in a beautiful lagoon. In the past, the lagoon was used as a harbour, but after a devastating storm, it became blocked by sands. It's these very sands that now draw people from near and far to marvel at this beauty. Twice daily, the lagoon fills with seawater. This place is a favourite for day trips for both locals and tourists alike. During low tide, locals flock to the small village to

stroll along the lagoon shore to the beach. One of the main attractions in the village is the church, whose roof is covered with greenery. There's also a rural museum. In the settlement of Dúvugarðar in Saksun, there are several

wonderful houses, completely covered in greenery, which recreate a magical atmosphere straight out of a fairy tale. Waterfalls are aplenty here, and you can enjoy breathtaking views, located right next to the steep mountainous area.

Day 5

Island Kalsoy and the Kallur Lighthouse

You know that there's always an Instagram photo that captures your heart, and

you decide that just because of that shot, you'll visit the country? Well, that's exactly what happens with Kalsoy Island and the Kallur Lighthouse. The wild nature and dramatic vistas that envelop the island, along with the lighthouse peeking through the majestic cliffs, create a magical place that will encourage you to leave a piece of your heart here. It's no coincidence that this location was chosen for filming the latest James Bond movie – “No Time to Die”.

How to get to Kalsoy from Klaksvik? Once we reach Klaksvik, the adventure begins – we'll take a ferry to Kalsoy Island (from the Syðradalur ferry terminal). The journey takes about 20 minutes.

Day 6

Hike to Drangarnir the sea stacks

Trek to Drangarnir the sea stacks – yet another of the peculiar and unique formations that only nature can create, and we can only admire. In places like these, we realise how small we are and the grandeur that exists in the world. Drangarnir is the name of two sea stacks (sheer cliffs near the shore formed by the sea waves), located between the island of Vágar and the charming little island of Tindhólmur. The name of the larger stack is Stóri Drangur, and the smaller one is Lítli Drangur. They form an impressive open arch, which is the main attraction in this area. To reach the starting point of our adventure, we need to go to Tindhólmur, which takes about 1 hour by car. The tour starts from the village of Sørvágur. The trek takes about 5 hours and is of medium difficulty, but the end goal and views are worth the effort. The moment you stand on the cliffs and gaze at Drangarnir, with the waves crashing against it and birds circling around, you will forget all fatigue.

Day 7

Jacuzzi Day

Today, we'll take a break from our adventures and all the emotions we've experienced over the past few days. We'll enjoy the comforts of our home. Everyone is free to do as they please. You can use the jacuzzi, and we'll have a daytime party to fittingly conclude this incredible Faroe Islands adventure.

Day 8

Farewell Faroe Islands!

The end of our journey through this beautiful, diverse, and captivating land.
