Day 1

Along the 'Troll Road'

You arrive in the capital Oslo (Oslo Airport), where we will be waiting with our mobile homes for the next few days and head towards Trollstigen. Imagine the freedom of waking up every day in a new place. Travelling by camper offers exactly that feeling.

Oslo (Oslo) – Trollstigen, approximately 430 km.

Trollstigen or the "Trolls' Path" is one of the most picturesque and dramatic areas in Norway. It features a tourist route with some of the most awe-inspiring views in the country. It is located deep within the mountain heart of the Rauma region in western Norway. Along our journey, we'll encounter breathtaking vistas, stunning waterfalls, steep cliffs, turquoise waters, and crystal-clear lakes. The road was opened in 1936 and today is among the most visited attractions in the country. Legend has it that trolls roam Trollstigen at night and turn to stone when touched by the sun's rays. This is one of those places where you feel the incredible power not just of Norway, but of the entire world. A place where humanity and nature coexist as one. Proof of this coexistence is the Trollstigen Visitor Centre, which is one of five architectural projects along the Geiranger-Trollstigen tourist route and is designed to blend seamlessly with nature. The place is a true architectural masterpiece, set amidst fantastic natural landscapes.

Day 2

In the World of Geirangerfjord

Trollstigen – Geiranger, 150 km / 3 hrs.

Majestic mountains, breathtaking waterfalls, deep blue waters, and a surreal landscape that will transport us to a different world. This is the realm of Geirangerfjord – one of the most beautiful and awe-inspiring Norwegian fjords. It offers a fantastic view straight out of tales about ancient Vikings and mystical heroes.

Geirangerfjord is on UNESCO's World Heritage List for both cultural and natural significance. With its 15-kilometre length, snow-capped mountain peaks, impressive waterfalls, greenery, and deep blue waters, this fjord is among the most stunning in the world. We'll also board a ferry to immerse ourselves even deeper into the incredible nature of the area. Nestled within this cold, picturesque landscape is the small village of Geiranger. The local population is just 300, and the village holds an unspoiled and authentic atmosphere. We offer you the chance, if you wish, to explore the area by kayaking, where you will delve even further into the Scandinavian charm of Geiranger. At the end of our second day of adventure, we will light a campfire and prepare dinner by the edge of this fantastic location. If we're lucky and skilful enough with our fishing rods, we might even enjoy freshly caught cod.

Day 3

A Journey Through the Mystical Architecture of Norway

Geiranger – Stryn – Loen – Olden, 100 km/2-4 hrs

Norway holds an incredible spirit. An atmosphere from the Viking times and those landscapes from movie sets. Norway hides in the small, typical villages that look like illustrations from books. On the third day of our journey, this is what we’re going to show you.

After breakfast, we head towards Stryn – Loen – Olden. A voyage awaits us to the cozy Scandinavian towns, where we will enjoy the mystical Norwegian architecture. The small Norwegian villages boast pastel tones and distinct nuances. They stand out with their architectural character and authenticity. We will see them nestled in the midst of a lush green forest, close to the breathtaking waterfalls.

Next, an extraordinary experience awaits near Olden, where we can take a wooden boat ride on Lake Oldevatn, being sure that until this moment you’ve never seen water so turquoise. We will camp at Olden Camping Gytri and can have a barbecue.

Day 4

Icy Adventure in National Park Jostedalsbreen

Briksdalsbreen Glacier

Nestled between raging waterfalls and towering peaks in the pristine wilderness of Norway lies the renowned Briksdalsbreen Glacier. Briksdalsbreen is an arm of the vast Jostedalsbreen Glacier, located within the Jostedalsbreen National Park. Adventurers from all corners of the globe arrive to witness this glacier descending from 1200 metres into the magnificent Briksdalen Valley. After the icy adventure, we return to Olden. You'll have free time to embrace the Norwegian ambiance, and if you wish, we can offer a sail in a wooden boat.

Day 5

Wild camping, fishing, and dinner

Olden – Borgund Stave Church – Lærdal, 170 km/3h.

After breakfast, we set off to our next adventure stop. Lærdal is famous for having one of the longest road tunnels in the world – 24.5 km. We will pass by the impressive Bøyabreen Glacier, another of Norway's magical wonders. This glacier exudes an awe-inspiring atmosphere, which we will enjoy up close from the main road in Fjærland. Its full splendour can be appreciated from the large panoramic windows of the Brevasshytta café, where occasionally massive ice blocks can be seen collapsing. At the Norwegian Glacier Museum, you can see parts of this magnificent glacier.

Our next stop is the Borgund Stave Church. This place feels straight out of a fairy tale. Yet again, like the tales of the Brothers Grimm, we'll be transported by our next stop – the wooden Borgund Stave Church. It's known as ‘The Viking Church’ and is one of the best-preserved and authentic churches in Norway. Built around 1180, it features exquisite architecture. Richly decorated with carvings, the most distinctive are the four dragon heads on the roof, reminiscent of the dragon carvings on Norwegian ships.

After the church, we've planned wild camping, fishing, and dinner,

immersing you in the enchanting Norway, surrounded by waterfalls and endless mountain peaks near Lærdal.

Day 6

Natural Wonders of Norway

Laerdal (Lærdal) – Aurland – Odda, 200km / 3.5 hrs

After breakfast, we set off towards Odda, passing through Aurland, where we'll witness more of Norway's natural masterpieces.

High above the small Norwegian town of Aurland rises the Aurland Lookout platform. Situated 650 metres above sea level, this spot offers incredible panoramic views of the Aurlandsfjord and the surrounding area. Opened in 2006, it quickly became one of the most photogenic places around. This is one of those spots where you'll feel on top of the world.

The next stop is Odda – the starting point for the climb to Trolltunga. In the evening, we'll settle into a comfortable house with all amenities. After that, enjoy free time, fishing if you fancy, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 7

Get ready for a trek to Trolltunga

Trolltunga (Trolltunga) – Trekking 23 km-30 km total/about 12 hrs.

Trolltunga or 'The Troll's Tongue' is a rock formation in the shape of a horizontal ledge, situated about 1100 metres above sea level in the Skjeggedal valley. Trolltunga is a favourite spot for adventurers, thrill-seekers, and those who wish to see the world from above. The feeling when you sit on the edge is as if the world is at your feet. An adventure that can't be experienced anywhere else.

The trek to Trolltunga with us will take you to other realms, beyond your own capabilities, and shake you with emotions from the experience. The journey takes about 12 hours, 23km-30 km, but it's not very strenuous, and the elevation gain is around 900m. The popularity of the trek to Trolltunga has soared in recent years, turning Trolltunga into a national icon and a major tourist attraction for the region. Until 2010, fewer than 800 people travelled to Trolltunga each year. In 2016, over 80,000 people completed the 27-kilometre round trip from Skjeggedal, making it one of Norway's most popular hikes. Trolltunga is a place you'll never forget.

After the trek, we return back to Odda, where we will stay at a modern campsite and relax after the long journey.

There is a private road offering transport, but it costs extra and saves us 3 hours from the entire trek. The shuttle price is 330 NOK (approximately 70 BGN per person round trip).

Day 8

Heading towards the majestic rock of Preikestolen

Odda – Pulpit Rock Parking – Preikestolen – Jørpeland, 200km / 4 hrs.

On the eighth day of our adventure, we head towards one of Norway's famous attractions. After breakfast, we have free time until lunch, and then we set off towards the imposing Preikestolen cliff.

Preikestolen is also known as 'Pulpit Rock' and 'The Prayer Rock' — an impressive large rock block towering 604 meters above the water. Its flat shape resembles a square measuring 30x30, and today it stands as one of Norway's most visited landmarks. It is the perfect spot to gaze upon the world from high above and once again witness the country's breathtaking natural beauty. From its topmost point, a stunning panoramic view unfolds over colorful valleys and the blue waters of the sea. An exceptionally photogenic location with an otherworldly landscape. In the evening, we're looking forward to dinner and accommodation.

Day 9

Hiking Adventure to Preikestolen

Hiking to Preikestolen, 4 hr / 7.6 km

Today’s journey will once again bring us face-to-face with places that make you feel the raw and mystical Scandinavian nature.

This day, we’ve set up an adventure of hiking to Preikestolen, lasting about 4-5 hours, covering a distance of approximately 7.6 km. The trek features hilly terrain with an elevation gain of 350 metres. Along the way, beautiful spots await where we can savour the perfect spirit the area has to offer, as well as various rest spots. At the plateau’s summit, a mesmerising view of one of Norway’s most stunning fjords – Lysefjord – awaits us. It’s important to check the weather conditions at all times.

The evening concludes with dinner and an overnight stay at a campsite at the mountain’s foothills.

Day 10

Setting off towards Oslo

Preikestolen (Preikestolen) – Oslo Airport, 500km/8 hours

Preikestolen and its impressive cliff are now somewhere behind us, and after breakfast, we head towards Oslo. We have about eight hours of travel and 500 km to reach Norway's capital.

Day 11

Goodbye Norway!

Last morning in Norway. Transfer to Oslo airport and a warm welcome to all those memories of the wonderful Norway with the most beautiful fjords, impressive waterfalls, glaciers, cliffs, and breathtaking landscapes from another world. Goodbye, Norway! We'll meet again!
