Wild, rugged, untamed! An incredible biodiversity, breathtaking views, and nature in its purest form.

Namibia
Wild, rugged, untamed! An incredible biodiversity, breathtaking views, and nature in its purest form.

Why Namibia?
Majestic desert landscapes where the sands meet the sea.
This is our favourite programme, unmatched in the surrounding geographic regions! Namibia is a vast country with a sparse population, countless wild animals, natural parks, desert landscapes, the highest sand dunes in the world, endless roads, and the best way to see it all is a 3000 km two-week road trip in a convoy of 10 jeeps, straight out of an action film.
At night, we sleep in tents located on the roofs of our cars. Our camps offer wonderful accommodation facilities and we prepare BBQ over a campfire under a million stars.
Is this journey meant for you?

Namibia is a place you'll want to visit time and time again!
If your heart beats faster when the GPS signal is lost. If you're seeking adventure that starts where the tarmac roads end. If you want not just to see the wild, but to hear it, smell it, feel it under your skin – Namibia is for you.
This is not your typical holiday. It's a sandstorm of emotions, nights under the stars, dusty tyres, and a silence where you can hear yourself better. Perfect for travellers with an open mind, a thirst for raw beauty, and a tendency to turn every day into a story.

About the Journey
Become a Part of the Adventurers' Convoy
All stays will be at modern campsites with electricity, drinking water, and bathrooms. There, we'll have a campfire, food, songs, and dances under a million stars.
Since they'll also be our homes on wheels, let us tell you a bit about the accommodation conditions.
On the roof of the jeep, there will be two double tents with comfortable double beds, a ladder for climbing, and a panoramic view from above.
Whether we are moving across the red sand dunes or among herds of wild animals, the roar of the engines and the 4×4 drive of our Toyota Hilux will pave the way and make us feel like kings of the desert.
The riding comfort and amenities offered by the Hilux model are like the brand's trademark, so we guarantee that everything you see on your journey will be like watching a Discovery Channel film from your living room sofa.

Itinerary
Day 1
Sofia - Windhoek
Meet at the airport and catch a flight towards Windhoek. Bring along your adventurous spirit, passport, and smiles.
Day 2
Welcome to Namibia!
Welcome to Namibia and the capital, Windhoek.
Transfer and accommodation at Arebbusch Travel Lodge. Today we look forward to rest and an overnight stay after the long journey.
Day 3
Etosha National Park
Today, we're heading to Etosha National Park, where we'll spend 2 nights.
Etosha National Park in Namibia is one of the most significant reserves and safari destinations in Africa. In the country, it is the most famous and important national park. Today, its area covers about 22,912 km² and is fully fenced to protect the animals. First and foremost, it is known as the largest wildlife sanctuary in Namibia. Etosha is home to 4 of the 'Big Five' (elephant, rhino, buffalo, leopard, and lion), with only the buffalo being absent. However, the elephants found there are considered some of the largest in the world, due to the vitamins and nutrients found in the soil. Etosha is proudly experienced in the conservation of the endangered black rhino, and the white rhino has recently been restored. We look forward to epic views with numerous elephants, giraffes, lions, wildebeest antelopes, zebras, and small South African gazelles. The park is also home to leopards, oryx, cheetahs, and many other mammal species and over 340 bird species.
We'll camp and spend the night at Halali Camp, where we'll watch wild animals from an impressive viewing platform.
Day 4
Etosha National Park
Our day will begin with welcoming the sunrise and a morning safari in Etosha National Park. We set off in search of the park's inhabitants. We will become part of a breathtaking spectacle showcasing the extraordinary world of wildlife.
The areas with denser vegetation are home to elephants, black rhinos, and leopards, while giraffes tower high above it all. Around the waterholes, predators and herbivores often gather together, and the bright sun with silhouettes of animals crossing the horizon will immerse us in the atmosphere of 'The Lion King' and the world of the film's heroes. Camping and overnight stay at Okaukuejo Camp.
Day 5
Damara
Today, our journey takes us to Damaraland, where we will meet the Damara tribe, who, along with the Bushmen, belong to the oldest nations in Namibia. Located near Twyfelfontein, the Living Museum of the Damara is one of its kind. The place showcases the 'lost culture' of the Damara, which you won't see anywhere else in Namibia or the world. Our next stop is Twyfelfontein – a valley nestled in the Damara mountain region.
A UNESCO World Heritage Site. Twyfelfontein translates to 'Fountain of Doubt'. Today, the site contains over 2500 rock paintings and engravings. Various hunting scenes are depicted, along with many engravings of animals (antelopes, zebras, giraffes, lions, etc.). The petroglyphs portray incredible rock art, and it's now one of the largest galleries of African rock art on the continent. Overnight stay at Twyfelfontein Country Lodge.
Day 6
Damaraland - Spitzkoppe
Today we head to Damaraland – home to the towering granite peaks of Spitzkoppe, where we will have 2 overnight stays.
Day 7
Spitzkoppe
In Spitzkoppe, you'll marvel at the incredible granite peaks nestled between Usakos and Swakopmund in the Namib Desert. The granite is over 120 million years old, with the highest summit reaching approximately 1,728 metres above sea level. These peaks dramatically stand out from the surrounding plains. In this magical and untouched place, you'll witness some of the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets of your life. You'll see the Milky Way like nowhere else in the world. During the two nights we'll stay there, we'll prepare a barbecue under a billion stars by the fire.
Day 8
Cape Cross and the Skeleton Coast
Today, we head towards Swakopmund, and along the way, we'll visit the Cape Cross seal reserve and the Skeleton Coast.
Cape Cross is home to one of the largest seal colonies in the world. The reserve is an extraordinary place where you can witness thousands of seals in their natural habitat, with numbers reaching over 80,000. The name Cape Cross comes from the large stone cross erected here by Portuguese settlers in the past.
Day 9
Swakopmund
Nestled between the ocean and the Namib Desert, Swakopmund is a coastal town in central Namibia. The tranquil town enchants with its colonial architecture, seaside promenades, historical landmarks, and excellent restaurants and breweries where you can savour traditional German food and beer. Yes, you read that right—German… Swakopmund is a seaside resort and a splendid example of German colonial architecture. It was founded in 1892 as the main port of German South West Africa. This is one of the few places outside Europe, North America, and parts of South America, where there is a significant German-speaking minority with German roots. Today, you will have a free day in Swakopmund.
A few days before we fly back, you have the chance to enjoy optional tours, which we recommend booking in advance.
Day 10
Sossusvlei and the Dead Valley Deadvlei
Today, we journey to the surreal landscapes of Sossusvlei and Dead Valley, part of the Namib-Naukluft National Park.
We'll pass through the Kuiseb Pass, home to some of the highest roads in the country. A spot where we can appreciate the vast scale and stunning scenery of Namibia. The road to Sossusvlei also introduces us to the Tropic of Capricorn.
Day 11
Sossusvlei and Big Daddy
Today is dedicated to the national park, where we'll bask in the dunes and landscapes. We'll stroll and capture the main attractions, which every enthusiast can conquer, including ‘Dune 45’, ‘Big Mamma’, ‘Big Daddy’, and ‘Dead Vlei’. ‘Big Daddy’ is the tallest dune in Sossusvlei, taking on average 50 minutes to reach the first plateau that rewards adventurers with stunning panoramas of dunes, a glimpse down into DeadVlei, and amazing photo opportunities. The dunes of Namib are created from sand carried by the wind from the coast. The wind in Sossusvlei itself blows from all directions, meaning the dunes are known as 'star' dunes – as the sand forms a star-like shape with multiple 'arms'.
The sand here is five million years old. It consists mainly of small grains covered with a thin layer of iron oxide, giving Namib its distinctive red colour. Each day, you'll enjoy the rising sun, which casts one side in fiery red while the other remains entirely in shadow. This truly is paradise for all photographers.
Day 12
Sossusvlei - Flight Tour
We're in for one of the most thrilling days of our stay here. We set off before dawn to catch the soft light of the sunrise in the desert. Today, we'll literally be flying over Namibia. We'll split into two groups – sunrise and sunset, with the first group flying in the morning, and the second group flying in the afternoon.
We will marvel at the majestic views from a bird's eye perspective and watch and photograph herds of wild animals in all their glory. On every one of our trips, this experience is etched forever, and Namibia will find a special place in your heart.
After the flight, we head towards Moon Mountain Lodge, passing through the town of Solitaire, which consists only of a petrol station, a shop, a chapel, and a bakery café. The café is well known for its apple pie, perhaps "the best in all of Namibia." The first thing that will catch your attention upon arriving in Solitaire is the abundance of car wrecks, picturesquely scattered along the way.
Day 13
Moon Mountain
After the desert landscape of the Naukluft Mountains, we settle in comfortably, grab an ice cream, and head back to the capital.
Since Independence came to the country on 21 March 1990, the city has been characterised by a vibrancy born from a sense of freedom and self-pride. Modern, cosmopolitan and pricey, the city is filled with cafes, fashion boutiques, craft shops, restaurants, street food, and hotels with nightclubs and discos. Among the must-see sights in the city are the castles built at the beginning of the 20th century – Heinitzburg, home to some of the most prestigious hotels: 'Schwerinsburg' and 'Sanderburg'. You can explore the National Museum, where more than 2 million artefacts tell the story of the country's nature, history, and culture. Namibia is one of the countries in the world with the best quality diamond mining. If you wish to make an extravagant and timeless gift, this is the place to purchase some of the purest gemstones and diamonds in the world.
There's an unofficial saying that goes like this: "You haven't been to Namibia if you haven't been to Joe’s." And we absolutely vouch for it! Joe’s Beerhouse is a place where the unexpected can happen, where the unusual is normal, and where nothing is ordinary. Just like Namibia. Comfortable, magnificently different. Here you can immerse yourself in a typically African atmosphere and try crocodile, zebra, wildebeest, and other surprises, which we won't reveal further. We will settle in for the night at the delightful Arebbusch Travel Lodge, where, if you need a well-deserved rest, you can enjoy a hearty breakfast and spend a relaxing afternoon by the pool with a cocktail in hand.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Is something unclear?
+359 887 293 757
Is Namibia dangerous?
Namibia is one of the safest countries in Africa. The most important thing is to maintain good hygiene, wash everything you eat, and consume only bottled water.
Do I need a vaccine for Namibia?
No vaccination requirements for entry into the country.
Where can I get a visa for Namibia?
The visa is purchased on-site at the airport. You can pay with a bank card or in cash. Contactless payments are not accepted.
What documents do I need for my journey?
With an international passport, valid for at least 6 months after the end date of the journey.
Is there a risk from wild animals and danger from insects?
Namibia is home to incredible wildlife, and that's exactly why we're here. In the national parks, we watch the animals from the jeep, which is also the best way to take photos. Outside the parks, we move in an organised manner. Simple rules: step confidently, don't leave belongings on the ground, and enjoy encounters from a safe distance.
How much money should I take with me?
Most of the expenses in Namibia are included in the programme, and the major shops we pass through accept card payments. You'll need cash for souvenirs, gifts, and other purchases during the journey.
What's the weather like in Namibia?
The seasons are reversed (Southern Hemisphere). Summer (November-March): hot, with rainfall, temperatures up to 35-40°C+ in southern regions. Winter (May-August): cool, dry, sunny, around 15°C in Windhoek. The coast is cool all year round (13-23°C) due to the cold Benguela Current. Significant differences between day and night temperatures everywhere.
When can I sign up for the additional activities?
Registration for these activities will take place during the journey and payment will be cash only.
What else can I take along on this adventure?
On our journey through Namibia, we will encounter many people in poverty. You may choose to donate water, food, clothes, and other items if you wish to help them.
Is there mobile internet in Namibia?
In cities and larger towns, coverage is good (3G/4G). In the national parks and desert areas, coverage is very limited or completely absent. The Skeleton Coast is almost without signal. Wi-Fi is available in most lodges, but speeds vary. We recommend a local SIM card (MTC) for better coverage.
Can I fly a drone in Namibia?
In national parks (Etosha, Sossusvlei, Skeleton Coast), drones are strictly prohibited, including within a 9.3 km radius from the park boundaries. Outside the parks, a permit is required from the Namibia Aviation Administration, which must be submitted 60 days in advance. In practice, drones for tourism purposes in Namibia are very difficult to implement.
