WhyZanzibarWhere to next?
Let go of control and savour the moment
What draws us back to Zanzibar is the exotic allure of Africa. The incredibly beautiful nature, 30-degree sunshine when it's a real winter in Bulgaria.
The authentic tribes and culture we encounter, the adrenaline rush of ATVs in the jungle, the wild beaches, and those surreal ocean tides.
Strolls and dives between the reefs, seafood, and that Hakuna Matata, which acts like a mantra, making you let go of control and enjoy the moment.
We'll return to reveal these hidden spots and prove that our Zanzibar is much better!

Imagine a house by the ocean, as we savour fresh seafood and watch the unique dance of the tides. Each day, we embark on a new adventure – chasing dolphins, riding ATVs through jungles, sailing in traditional African boats, and stroking the world's largest turtles.
The Zanzibar we'll show you is the familiar Zanzibar – known for its spices and endless ocean. But we will also reveal the hidden side of Zanzibar – filled with the spirit of adventure, indulgence, and the adrenaline rush of off-road terrains. Our Zanzibar is a paradise whose exotic charm we can't wait to show you.

Sample Itinerary
Day 1
From Sofia to Africa
With great excitement, we meet at Sofia Airport and catch our flight to Africa. Bring along your spirit of adventure, passports, and smiles.
Day 2
Welcome to Kiwengwa!
With a transfer from Karame Airport, we head towards the eastern side of the island – Kiwengwa, where the exotic Stone resort awaits us among the palm trees on the shore. This will be our home for the next week, from where we will travel in different directions by water and land, guided by
local guides in search of the most beautiful places in these parts. The air temperature here is around 30 degrees all year round.

Day 3
On the road from Prison Island to the authentic Spacy Market
Today marks the beginning of our true adventure here.
First, we set sail in a wooden boat to the neighbouring Changoo, better known as Prison Island. Originally, the island was intended to be a 'home' for slaves in the past, but instead, it is inhabited by massive tortoises that roam freely and are a jungle attraction. The tour starts at the old fort, built by Arabs as a defence against the Portuguese invasion. Next is the Anglican church, where slaves were once sold, and it ends at the Sultan's Palace, where lavish ceremonies were held. We'll see the full spectrum of this exotic country's history all in one place. Many devoted Queen fans specifically come here to see the birthplace of the rock legend Freddie Mercury.
An essential stop is the authentic Spacy Market, dating back to 1904, filled with a bounty of spices found only here. We'll take a break under the thick shade of Forodhani Park, a favourite resting spot for locals. We'll try some typical specialties at local restaurants. Free time and activities based on interests.
Day 4
Setting off towards Mnemba Island and greeting the sunset at Nungwi Beach
Today, we board a traditional wooden boat and set sail towards Mnemba Island. Near it, we'll dive into some of the most stunning reefs in Africa, renowned for their vibrant array of colourful fish and corals. For lunch, we make land on the small private island, where we'll have a festive seafood feast. Lobsters, prawns, calamari, fish… all freshly caught and prepared right before us.
It's time to enjoy a little rest and sink into the fine white sand that surrounds the entire island. In the afternoon, we dock at the natural turtle aquarium, where
we can swim freely among them, just within arm's reach. At sunset, we find ourselves at Nungwi Beach, home to some of the most beautiful views of the sun sinking into the ocean.
Day 5
Jozani Forest – Zanzibar National Park
We're back in the water heading south, towards the popular dolphin spot near Kizimkazi.
Since tourists often come here, they're accustomed to their presence, and without any worries, you too can swim among these gentle creatures. The feeling is amazing, and we're eagerly anticipating this moment! As noon approaches and the water warms, the dolphins dive into the deep, and we wave goodbye to them as we head to Zanzibar's only national park – Jozani Forest. Located in the heart of the island, it's a place that's remained preserved and untouched over the years. Here, you find yourself amidst dense forests, a variety of wildlife, and the park's main attraction – the Red Colobus monkeys. Curious and attention-seeking, they leap from branch to branch, ready to pose in various positions for Instagram.
Day 6
Free Programme
If you are interested, we can organise for each of you, according to your wishes, a sailboat journey to the reef of the Indian Ocean or fishing for ocean monsters.
Day 7
ATV Tour in the Wild Jungle
Today, we'll embark on an ATV ride to places that are harder to reach. We'll plunge into the wild jungle, authentic villages, and untamed beaches. A full day of fun on wheels. We'll stop to chat with the locals, eat with them, and boost our adrenaline on off-road terrains. In the evening, we'll have a party with cocktails and seafood by the pool.
Day 8
A Day in Nungwi
We return to Nungwi. The second largest town on the island, a blend of colours and cultures, will be our postcard-like backdrop. In February, the ocean water experiences the most significant ebb and flow, and within just a few hours, we will witness two completely different landscapes. We'll take a tour with a guide who will tell us fascinating stories. In the evening, as the golden hour arrives, we'll board an authentic African boat to welcome the sunset accompanied by the sounds of coconut kokiriko and songs, leaving you with unforgettable memories of Zanzibar.
Day 9
Free time to explore.
If someone has missed the chance, now is the last moment to enjoy:
sailing with a sailboat to the reef in the Indian Ocean
renting scooters to explore the long stretch of beach
fishing for oceanic monsters.
Day 10
The Rock Restaurant
Today, we will visit The Rock Restaurant. An exceptional seafood restaurant located in a unique spot – perched on a rock in the Indian Ocean. This place is a one-of-a-kind restaurant, celebrated as one of the most fascinating in the world. Here, you can savour a variety of dishes, from pasta to delicious local seafood. During low tide, you can walk to the restaurant, while at high tide, you will be ferried by boat.
Day 11
Farewell, Zanzibar!
Last day. It’s time to say goodbye to the incredible nature and smiling people of Zanzibar. This evening, we have a transfer to the airport and a flight to Sofia… Until we meet again, and Hakuna Matata.

Is there a risk from wild animals and danger from insects?
The most dangerous creature you might encounter is a sea urchin while swimming in the ocean. :) Don't worry about venomous snakes, insects, and other reptiles, as they dwell in the island's jungle, far from where we're staying.
