Day 2

Welcome to Kiwengwa!

With a transfer from Karame Airport, we make our way to the eastern side of the island – Kiwengwa, where the exotic Stone Resort awaits us among the shoreline palms. This will be our home for the next week, from where we'll travel in various directions by water and land, guided by

local guides in search of the most beautiful spots in these latitudes. The air temperature here is around 30 degrees year-round.

Let us tell you a little about Stone Resort – the place we visit every year.

Incredibly beautiful, situated by the ocean on one of the longest beaches in

Zanzibar. It features a pool, beach, and its own bar.

Day 3

On the journey from Prison Island to the authentic Spacy Market

Our real adventure begins here today.

First, we set sail in a wooden boat to the neighbouring Changoo, more popularly known as Prison Island. The island was originally planned to be a "home" for slaves in the past, but instead, it is inhabited by giant tortoises that roam freely and are a jungle attraction. The tour starts from the old fort, built by the Arabs for defence against the Portuguese invasion. Next is the Anglican church, where slaves were sold in the past, and it concludes at the Sultan's Palace, where lavish ceremonies were held. We'll witness the vibrant history of this exotic land all in one place. Many ardent fans of Queen come here specifically to see the birthplace of rock legend Freddie Mercury.

A must-stop is the authentic Spacy Market, dating back to 1904, brimming with an abundance of spices that can only be found here. We'll pause to enjoy the cool shade of Forodhani Park, a favourite resting spot for the locals. We'll try some typical specialities in some of the local restaurants. Free time and interest-based activities.

Day 4

Setting off towards Mnemba Island and embracing the sunset at Nungwi Beach

Today, we embark on a traditional wooden boat and set sail towards Mnemba Island. Near it, we'll dive into some of Africa's most stunning reefs, renowned for their diverse array of colourful fish and corals. For lunch, we land on the small private island, where we'll enjoy a festive seafood meal. Lobsters, prawns, calamari, fish... all freshly caught and cooked right before us.

It's time to enjoy a short break and immerse ourselves in the white fine sand that surrounds the entire island. In the afternoon, we dock at a natural turtle aquarium, where

we can swim freely among them, just an arm's length away. At sunset, we find ourselves at Nungwi Beach, where some of the most beautiful views of the sun sinking into the ocean can be witnessed.

Day 5

Jozani Forest National Park of Zanzibar

We're back in the water heading south towards the popular dolphin spot near Kizimkazi.

As tourists often come here, the dolphins are accustomed to their presence, and without any hesitation, you can swim among these delightful creatures. It's an amazing feeling, and we're eagerly looking forward to this moment! Since around midday, when the water grows warmer, the dolphins dive into the deep, we wave them goodbye and head towards Zanzibar's only national park – Jozani Forest. Situated in the heart of the island, it's something that has remained preserved and untouched over the years. Here, you find yourself amidst dense forests, a variety of wildlife, and the park's big attraction – the Red Colobus monkeys. Curious and eager for attention, they leap from branch to branch, ready to pose in different positions for Instagram.

Day 6

Free Programme

If you're interested, we can arrange for each of you, according to your wishes, a sailboat cruise to the Indian Ocean reef or fishing for ocean monsters.

Day 7

ATV Tour in the Wild Jungle

Today, we're setting off on an ATV tour to explore those hard-to-reach spots. We'll dive into the wild jungle, visit authentic villages, and discover secluded beaches. A whole day of fun on wheels. We'll stop and chat with the locals, dine with them, and pump up our adrenaline on off-road terrains. In the evening, we’ll throw a party with cocktails and seafood by the pool.

Day 8

A Day in Nungwi

We return to Nungwi. The second largest town on the island, a mix of colours and cultures, it will be our backdrop for postcard-like photos. In February, the ocean's water experiences the largest tides, and within just a few hours, we will witness two completely different landscapes. We'll take a tour with a guide who will share fascinating stories with us. In the evening, as the golden hour arrives, we'll board an authentic African boat to watch the sunset to the sounds of coconut kokiriko and songs, leaving you with an unforgettable memory of Zanzibar.

Day 9

Free time to explore.

If someone has missed trying it, now is the last moment to enjoy:

sailing with a sailboat to the Indian Ocean reef

renting scooters to explore the long stretch of beach

fishing for ocean monsters.

Day 10

The Rock Restaurant

Today we will visit The Rock Restaurant. An exceptional seafood restaurant located in a unique spot—on a rock amidst the Indian Ocean. This place is a one-of-a-kind restaurant, rated as one of the most interesting restaurants in the world. Here, you can enjoy a variety of foods, from pasta to local delicious seafood. During low tide, you can walk to the restaurant, and at high tide, you will be taken by boat.

Day 11

Farewell, Zanzibar!

Last day. It's time to say goodbye to the stunning nature and smiling people of Zanzibar. Tonight, we have a transfer to the airport and a flight to Sofia... Until we meet again and Hakuna Matata.
