Untouched Paradise for Nature Lovers
The beginning of our camper tour originates from COVID-impacted Bulgaria and represents the first attempt to create a unique tourist experience in the country by Panic Frame & Travel.
What started as an idea to entice Bulgarians to discover their own country has now expanded into a collaboration between Panic Frame & Travel and Visit my Bulgaria. This year's journey will be an intense 12-day dive into the heart of the Bulgarian Rhodopes, allowing you to become completely lost in the mystique, folklore, and nature that this part of the country possesses.
Our tour of the wild Rhodope Mountains is the perfect beginning for expanding into various adventures and journeys across the country. To eventually reach the old capital Veliko Tarnovo, the Black Sea, and the famous Belogradchik Fortress, we'll start with a tour in a part of the country that we guarantee will captivate everyone.
One of Europe's last wild fortresses
We'll be journeying through tiny villages nestled among imposing cliffs, visiting a mountain school dedicated to preserving Bulgaria's most sacred music and dance. Endless nights will be spent under starry skies and deep forests. You'll encounter must-see spots in Bulgarian tourism like the Seven Rila Lakes, the ancient city of Plovdiv – the oldest in Europe, the Rila Monastery, and more.
Close to Nature
Although this journey could have been undertaken in many ways, we quickly concluded that the rich nature of Bulgaria, combined with the opportunity for outdoor picnics, meant that travelling by camper was our best bet. And it's the perfect moment to add that outdoor picnics will be our speciality, as we will have the popular outdoor chefs and adventurers, Bivouac, joining us on our journey. Get ready for meals under clear skies, roasting meats over open fires, and so much more.
In Safe Hands
And you'll definitely need a good meal, as thrilling experiences await, like a traditional folklore concert, a ride on the famous narrow-gauge train, kayaking across Lake Beglika, encounters with rescued brown bears, and much more with the help of the experienced guides Emilijan and Martin, as well as professional cooks and mountain experts.
Emilijan and Martin have spent years getting to know Bulgaria, whether through tourist campaigns, documentaries, or meeting locals in the forgotten corners of the country. They are as excited to show you their homeland as you should be to discover it.

We'll journey over 1000 kilometers in our campers, which will be equipped with all the essential comforts.
We'll visit the largest monastery in Bulgaria.
We'll indulge in a unique sensory experience crafted by the chefs of Bivoac kitchen.

With an experienced mountain guide, we will ascend Vihren - the third highest peak in the Balkans, where beauty and challenge are guaranteed.
Wine Tasting in the Melnik Region will be a must-stop for us. We’ll immerse ourselves in the flavours of the area, tasting wines in delightful company.
Canyon of Waterfalls: The name of this trail is no coincidence. The presence of numerous waterfalls, each with varying heights, makes this path so alluring. Autumn colours will surround us as we cross bridges and embark on a captivating 3-hour circular route.
Jeeps will take us to one of the most magnificent panoramas over the Rhodope Mountains, where we will witness the endless stretch of this mystical range.
An unforgettable private performance of folklore arts from the most fitting place for such an experience.
The Narrow-Gauge Railway is one of the most picturesque and intriguing train journeys in the Balkans. We'll share our journey with locals who use the train daily, while we delight in the mountain landscapes.
We will also visit Belitsa Reserve, which is among the most important institutions established in recent years related to animals. It offers a chance for a new life for rescued brown bears, also known as *dancing bears.*
