Why Morocco?
Can you handle the heat... literally and figuratively?
Morocco is like a book you just can't put down – colourful, full of aromas, with a dramatic twist on every page. But here's the thin line – you're the one writing it. Or more precisely, you and the rest of the group, who will compete to see who can come up with the funniest joke about what it's like to be single.
Here everything starts with smiles and ends with stories that you'll find hard to believe happened in just a few days. The markets of Marrakech are a real stage for impromptu haggles – “How much, did you say, for this scarf? Well, what if I throw in a charming smile?” The evenings are filled with challenges, but not of the “try this spicy dish” type. More like “Truth or Dare,” when someone dares to ask: “When was the last time you flirted with a complete stranger?”
Morocco is the place where the sunset paints the most beautiful pictures, but the real magic lies in the laughter – that genuine, uncontrollable laughter that arises from shared moments, unexpected jokes, and creative attempts to take the most unique photo amongst the vibrant streets of Marrakech.
And since this is Singles Only, you can't escape the question “Who are better at telling jokes, men or women?” – which, of course, always ends with a cheerful “Depends on who holds the glass of wine.”
Sometimes the best things start with a “why not!” and end with memories for a lifetime!

Is Morocco safe?
Morocco is one of the safest countries in Africa for tourists. Petty scams in the markets (bazaars) are the primary 'risk', but they don't pose a real threat. With an organised group and a local guide, we navigate the medinas without any issues. Women travel safely in our groups.
What health precautions should I take for Morocco?
There are no mandatory vaccines for Morocco. Consult your GP for recommended precautions. Drink bottled water and avoid ice from unknown sources. Generally, the food is tasty and safe, especially in the restaurants and establishments we visit.
Do I need a visa for Morocco?
No, Bulgarian citizens do not need a visa for stays up to 90 days. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months. Make sure you get a stamp at the border.
What currency is used in Morocco and how do I pay?
The official currency is the Moroccan Dirham (MAD). Euros are accepted in tourist areas, but the exchange rate can vary. Card payments are possible in larger establishments and hotels. In markets and smaller towns, you'll need cash in Dirhams. ATMs are available everywhere in the cities.
What's the weather like in Morocco?
It depends on the region. The Mediterranean coast (Tangier) is 12-25°C, with rain from November to March. Marrakech: winter is about 13°C, summer can soar to 40°C+. Sahara: extreme variations, up to 35°C+ during the day and down to 5°C at night. The dry season is June-September (almost no rain). The rainy season is November-March.
Is there mobile internet in Morocco?
Mobile coverage is good in cities and along main roads. Wi-Fi is available in most hotels and cafes. In the desert and remote mountain areas, coverage is limited. A local SIM card (Maroc Telecom or Inwi) is cheap and provides good internet.
Can I fly a drone in Morocco?
No. Drones have been banned in Morocco since 2015. Importing, selling, and using drones is prohibited for any purpose. If you have a drone in your luggage, it will be confiscated at the airport. If you declare it at customs, they will hold it for you and return it upon departure. Do not bring a drone to Morocco.
