Why Sumatra?
Ancient tribes, living jungles, and volcanoes within arm's reach.
Sumatra is one of the last truly wild places on the planet – raw, green, and full of surprises. This is a journey through the heart of Indonesia, where endangered species like the orangutan still roam freely through the jungle, volcanoes smoke on the horizon, and ancient tribes like the Mentawai keep their rituals alive.
We'll climb to craters, bathe in waterfalls, trek through dense tropical forest, and sleep in a traditional house of a tribe secluded from the world. We'll dive into local cultures and feel the pulse of this island – both vast and intimate.
This is not just a journey – it's an immersion into another world.

If you yearn for a world where time flows differently. If you want to get lost in the jungle and find yourself by a fire with a tribe that has never heard of Wi-Fi. If you believe nature can be both a temple and a teacher – then this journey is for you.
This is not a holiday, it's an adventure. You'll cross tropical forests, climb volcanoes, watch orangutans in the wild, and sleep in the home of a Mentawai shaman. It's suitable for people with an open mind, a curious spirit, and a desire to breathe life in its rawest and most authentic form.

Face of the Jungle
Among Orangutans and Hidden Waterfalls in the Jungle
The heart of Sumatra beats in the jungle. Gunung Leuser National Park is one of the last places on the planet where you can encounter orangutans in their natural habitat. Not behind bars – but free, observant, and hiding among the branches.
The trek winds through lush tropical forest, where every step unveils a new world – from thousands of plants to rare animals. You will bathe under a hidden waterfall, hear the jungle, which is unmistakable – it whispers, screams, breathes. And it changes you.

Smoking Peak, a living landscape
Climb to the volcano and dip in hot springs
At dawn, we will set off on the path to Mount Sibayak - active and smoking, seemingly carving a rift between worlds. The climb to the crater takes about 3 hours, and the views along the way are not merely beautiful – they invite you to disconnect from everything.
At the summit, you'll feel the earth breathing, clouds tumbling below you, and life looking different from above. The descent through the jungle ends in natural hot springs – the perfect ending to a day you'll remember.
Among Shamans and Legends
Meeting the Mentawai Tribe – Life Beyond Time
Two days among one of the most ancient tribes in Indonesia – the Mentawai. We'll travel by boat along wild rivers, carry our luggage through the jungle, and sleep in a traditional shaman's house. This isn't a tourist show – it's life as it was before everything else.
We'll fish, prepare sago powder, learn how to make poisons for arrows, and dance around the fire. You'll discover that a true connection with nature and people requires nothing more than being present.
